Our story

We didn't set out
to build a museum

We set out to stop these vehicles and the people who loved them from being forgotten. The museum happened along the way.

How it started

It began with one scooter that nobody wanted rusting in a scrapyard, forty years old, still running if you kicked it just right. We couldn't let it go. Then came a taxi. Then a fire engine. Then people started showing up with their own family stories, asking if we'd keep theirs safe too.

Today there are over 400 of them here, each with a story attached not a placard, a story. Because nobody remembers a vehicle. They remember who they were sitting next to.

What we believe

Human stories > vehicles

Every piece here exists because of who rode in it, not what's under the hood.

Made for families

Three generations should be able to enjoy the same visit, differently.

Never a lecture

We'd rather make you smile than make you sit through a plaque.
